Why Manage Change?
Effective Project and Program Management is vital to deliver successful business transformations. Too often, however, demand for change outstrips available personnel and capital capacities. Other times, complex portfolios of change initiatives are not optimized or aligned. Effective business transformation governance is an essential response to the increasing demand for change, lacking visibility into constraints and change impacts, and the complexities of managing the people side of organizational change. A sound approach for setting priorities, allocating resources, driving delivery excellence, engaging the workforce, and ensuring strategic and functional alignment is therefore necessary and will improve enterprise change agility and return on investment. Bio
Prior to joining Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as Executive Directory, Strategy & Transformation, I was Head of Change at Hiscox Business Insurance. Before that, I led Marsh's Global Program Management Office (PMO). Earlier career experiences included positions with Satori Consulting, Reed Business Information, McKinsey & Company, and Arthur Andersen. I grew up near Frankfurt in Germany and have lived in New York City since 1998.
I hold an M.A. Change Leadership, Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, an M.B.A. from Pace University, and a B.S. Information Systems Management from New York University.
