Oliver Schneidemann
I created this site in 1998 to circulate my resume because I was seeking an Information Technology position in the United States of America. I had decided to move from Frankfurt (Germany) to the U.S. after I won in the Green Card Lottery. New York City has been my home since and I think of Frankfurt as my 'other' home.
My website turned into an autobiographic document because I continue to write about my adventure of moving from Germany to the U.S., and this new chapter in my life. In the index on your left you will find my Green Card diary, which describes many experiences I had since I moved to America.
There is also some background
about the volunteer work I
do, a few pictures, tips
for New York City visitors, information about my experience studying at New York University,
thoughts I wrote about after my visits in a Buddhist monastery, and other miscellaneous information. Come in and enjoy!
